NP Krka Waterfalls – Economy tour

1After you take a seat in our air-conditioned vehicle, we are taking a picturesque coastal road where some small attractions might fascinate you.

Some of you may be fascinated by a brand-new modern villa by the sea or some of you that may be inspired by the ruins of some old house or unusual olive trees.

Sometimes it also might be possible that a delight comes from a view on flock of sheep or a donkey by the roadside.

So, stay awake and look around.

2Definitely all of you will be fascinated by the small charming village Skradin, located at the very entrance to the National Park Krka.

In Skradin you board on a wooden scenic boat which takes you through the Krka canyon towards Skradinski Buk.

Enjoy the ride on this calm and quite lower course of the river.

Rest your eyes by watching magnificent landscapes, beautiful green water and catch some good photo of colorful wild ducks or some other birds.

3In the National Park our guide will explain you the route and give you some guidelines how to spend your free time.

Krka National Park is a place with breathtaking flora and fauna. Once you reach the biggest waterfall called Skradinski Buk, you will realize the power, the energy, the force of the nature and water cascades. Skradinski Buk is the longest travertine barrier on the Krka river. All along the waterfall there are plenty of wooden bridges and forest paths leading you to fabulous and unforgettable waterfall perspectives…

This circular trail around the waterfalls is about 2 kilometers long and it takes about an hour and a half to cross it. It includes enough time to learn some facts about the natural, cultural and historical heritage through educational panels provided along the trail.

The ethno collection, the weaving workshop, the old mill are just couple of things which will take you to the ancient times… priceless! You can have your own picnic in the valley or in the forest, or you can just enjoy the offer from the numerous park restaurants.

4After you finish your nature discovery, you board on the same type of boat to get from the Park to Skradin, where our guide and the driver will be waiting for you.

In case you come to Skradin earlier then agreed, you can use your free time for Skradin sightseeing or go to the beach.
